  1. On front cover: "Select highlights from independent british labels" On back cover: " was the year that the music came out of the concert halls and onto the streets; when independent labels sprang out of the woodwork to feed new tastes; when rock music once again became about energy and fun; when the majors' boardrooms lost control/5(80).
  2. Streets was a band made up of singer, keyboardist Steve Walsh, guitarist Mike Slamer, bassist Billy Greer, and drummer Tim Gehrt. Steve Walsh had been in the band Kansas and Mike Slamer has been in several other bands, including Britain's City Boy.
  3. I adore the use of 80s and 90s influences you can clearly hear in songs like 'Hard Times', 'Rose-Colored Boy' and 'Forgiveness'. I think it's a really cleverly structured album- side A ending at '26' and being a lot more "poppy" and upbeat than side B, starting at 'Pool'. From there, the songs begin to sound a bit heavier and like old Paramore/5().

  7. This album is a Classic. I almost didn't buy it because it has been modified, the original was 19 tracks and the reissue is only 13 tracks. This is misleading as it appears only 1 song has been cut off the album, G'z up and hoes down/5(1).
